(Fourum’s 48th Year)

Another wonderful time at the Swaledale Festival! Sandy may have lost his voice but the audience still responded enthusiastically to the programme we presented. We have already been invited back to the festival next year!

A great night at Ripon At Wilfrid's Folk Club last night. A most appreciative audience made us feel very welcome. A special thanks to Tish and Ben for joining us in a couple of songs.

Another wonderful evening at the Georgian Theatre last night. A most appreciative audience who joined in with everything. Judging from the applause, a good time was had by all!

We had a great and nostalgic evening at St. Cuthbert's Church Hall yesterday. It was nice to be back in Darlington where it all began for Fourum over 47 years ago, and to meet up with some former staff and pupils from the school where three of us taught.

Another season has come to an end. Last Friday we had our final concert of the year at St. Mary's Church in Richmond. The large audience gave us a very warm welcome on a cold night! Perhaps the highlight of the evening was a world premiere of St. Mary's Bells - a poignant song written by Rod about the bells he hears on a daily basis, since he lives just a few hundred yards away. The reception given to the song showed just how much the audience loved it, as did we when he introduced it to us at a rehearsal a few weeks before.
